Pastor Sabrina Sutton was born in Brooklyn, NY and the first of five siblings born of

Bishop Edward & Dr. Thelma Ramsey Sr.  

At an early age, she came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Pastor Sabrina is the product of the New York City Board of Education, graduating from Bayside High School in Queens New York and receiving her Bachelor’s of Religious Education Degree from the Community Bible Institute and Seminary in Brooklyn, New York and is currently a candidate to receive her Master’s degree in Religious Education.

God has afforded Pastor Sutton throughout the years the opportunity to train under noted leaders such as her parents, Bishop Edward & Dr. Thelma Ramsey Sr., Pastor Edward Ramsey, Jr. the late Bishop Blanche Garrett and Pastor C.R. Johnson, Pastor Joan Webster, Apostle Curtis Schulze and, Apostle William Denson.                                                  

In 2004, Pastor Sabrina was ordained Elder under the auspices of the Agape Covenant Fellowship Ministries.  Her responsibilities as an Elder at Agape Christian Center were Church Administrator and head of Community Outreach.

In 2008, after much prayer and fasting, Pastor Sabrina heeded the call from the Lord, to the office of Pastor. On March 28, 2009, Elder Sabrina Sutton was installed Pastor of Agape Christian Center.    

The Vision of Agape Christian Center is “Restoring Families back to God”, through Empowerment, Worship, and Discipleship.  Pastor Sabrina believes if you go after the Heart of God, you will know His Will and Purpose for what He has commissioned His people to do. This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them might war a good warfare; I Tim.1:18. Over the past 10 years God has been preparing ACC for an end-time work, a people made ready to respond to the Moving of God’s Spirit!

Currently Pastor Sabrina is the Special Assistant for Youth/Education in the office of the Honorable Sheila Dixon, Mayor of the City of Baltimore City and the proud parent of one beautiful daughter, Shakahna A. Sutton.

In March, 1995, Pastors Edward and Thelma Ramsey birthed the Agape Christian Center which started in the basement of their home.  Today, under the leadership of Pastor Sabrina Sutton, the spirit of the vision “Restoration of the Family” permeates throughout the ministry.

The goal of the Agape Christian Center is to fulfill the Great Commission - And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."  (Matthew 28:18-20) We do this thru – discipleship (teaching and training), empowerment (Outreach and Evangelism) and worship (lifestyle).

Agape Christian Center has a strong Outreach component which started under the auspices of The Restoration of the Family Outreach Center.  Our first outreach ministry was Women of Agape – a support system for Women.  This effort grew to an outreach component for men - Mighty Men of Valor and then an academic summer enrichment camp which addressed the needs of our children and families from the community who wanted to see increased proficiency in their children’s reading and math subjects.  This effort was instrumental in increasing most of the participants’ scores on the standardized tests and overall performance.  We have recently added an initiative that addresses the needs of the ex-offender population which assist with the necessary resources and supports needed to pulling their lives back together.  These initiatives, and others, are signatures that validate and substantiate our vision. 

Agape continues to carry the mantle that was set before them by their founders Bishop Edward and Thelma Ramsey and they also continue in the spirit of Nehemiah 4:6 which states, “So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together to the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work.”
