Elder Philbert Badresingh returned from Knoxville College, Tennessee in May 2007 to spend the summer with his new wife Evangelist Barbara Badresingh in Central Islip, New York. Their plan was to go back to Tennessee where Elder Badresingh would finish his studies in psychology and start a blueberry farm. However, one night in April 2007 they were invited to the home of Sister Carol Morgan for all night prayer; which was started by Evangelist Paulette Cowan who also said that God told her that the house was to be consecrated by Evangelist Barbara Badresingh who did so. During the all night prayer at approximately 3:00 am, The Lord began to use Elder Badresingh to rightly divide the word of truth, and in a few days, he was asked to conduct a Bible Study at the said location. 

After accepting this task, Elder Badresingh called upon Evangelist Barbara, his lovely wife; a woman full of the fire of God; to establish the time and day of the week to meet to share the word of God, and by the leading of the Lord she chose Monday nights at 7:30 pm. On July 23rd, 2007 the first Bible Study started with seven people, the number of spiritual perfection.  

From the Bible study, Friday night services were added on December 7^th, 2007 at 7:30 pm, and as the fellowship grew, Sunday services were added on January 20^th, 2007, this was the establishing of Miracle Faith and Healing Ministries.  

The word of God came that Elder-Elect Barbara Badresingh should be installed as the Pastor and Elder Philbert Badresingh as the Assistant Pastor.  

 

Pastor Barbara Badresingh

Pastor Barbara Badresingh received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1978.  She later became an active member of Brooklyn Tabernacle Deliverance Center, where she served as a Counselor.

In December 2002 Barbara Washington accepted her call to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was licensed an Evangelist by Bishop Wayne Spence of Mt. Carmel Full Gospel Deliverance Temple on December 7, 2002. She was actively involved in the Church as the youth leader and she was also a member of the radio ministry team; serving in the capacity of Co-host for the broadcast program “It’s Your Time Now”

Because of the call of God to increase her service, and her faithfulness in service to the church, Evangelist Washington was ordained a Minister, August of 2005. 

Minister Washington had a love for the Word and began attending Bible School.  She later attended Mt. Carmel Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Studies.

On December 16, 2006 Minister Barbara Washington married Elder Philbert Badresingh, a union ordained by God signifying the unification of two ministries becoming one. 

Pastor Barbara Badresingh believes that the mission of the Church is to minister and exhibit compassion and love for the people of God and the Body of Christ.  Because of her love for souls, God has used her to encourage and enlighten people from every area of society.  Her anointed and unique Ministry is that of deliverance, reconciliation and salvation for lost souls. 

She is a gifted teacher of God’s Word, and through her teaching strengthens and increases the knowledge of those who are called to serve.  Pastor Badresingh has also taught at the Mt. Carmel Bible College, Inc. accreditation under the Auspices of the Christian Council on Education, Inc.  She has also served as Dean and a member of the Board of Directors for the College.

Pastor Badresingh is the Associate Director of Admissions at Purchase College, (State University of New York). She holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Psychology from Purchase College. She is also pursuing a M.S. Degree in Counseling at Long Island University.  She has spent several years in the Hospitality, Financial, and Public Relations industries.  However at Purchase College she has served as Office Manager, Events Coordinator, Admissions Counselor, and Assistant Director before accepting the position of Associate Director.

On December 7, 2007 Minister Badresingh answered the call of God to serve as Pastor of Miracle, Faith & Healing Ministries, Inc., which is now Christian Builders Deliverance Ministries, Inc. located in Amityville, New York. Working along side her as Asst. Pastor is her husband, Elder Philbert Badresingh, a dynamic teacher of the Holy Writ.  

 Pastor Barbara Badresingh is a servant of God and is committed to the working of ministry, edifying of the Body of Christ and the perfecting of the Saints, with all her might, soul and body. Her goal and desire is to teach the word of god; the truth, so that people can live a victorious life in Jesus Christ. 

 

Pastor Philbert Badresingh was born in the Island of Jamaica in the West Indies. At the age of 17 he was awarded a full scholarship to the Jamaica School of Music where he majored in School Music Teaching and Performance.  One evening Elder Badresingh heard the voice of the Lord speaking to him while attending a Christian meeting on campus; this started something new in his life.

Elder Philbert BadreSingh was a Rastafarian at the early age of 13, converted shortly after his father’s death by an older brother. However on that day in music school he was so moved by the voice of the Lord telling him how much He loved him that he started hounding members of the group trying to find out more about this loving God.

Soon after Philbert accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he began attending church and was baptized. His music abilities took him around the world playing sec-ular music in order to make a living, but after a while he found himself slipping away into the world and in a desperate move to get away from that life he migrated to the United States of America.

Philbert was a member of Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church in Queens NY where he began growing in the Lord under Pastor Ramsaram Singh. After about two years he moved to Long Island and became a part of Mount Carmel Full Gospel Deliverance Temple under Bishop Wayne Spence where he was ordained a Deacon. Deacon Badresingh was a member of the radio ministry team and co-host of “It’s Your Time Now” a radio broadcast sponsored by Mount Carmel. Through bible school, studies, and a personal relationship with the Lord he continued to grow even more.

Before leaving in September 2005 for Knoxville College in Knoxville Tennessee, Philbert was licensed a Minister of the gospel and three months later ordained an Elder by Apostle Norris Porter. While at Knoxville College Elder Badresingh founded Christian Builder’s Ministries a bible study based group.

After getting married on December 16^th, 2006, Elder Badresingh returned to NY May 2007 to be with his wife and in July was asked to teach a bible study to a group of seven women. This evolved into Miracle Faith & Healing Ministries, which is now Christian Builders Deliverance Ministries, Inc., where Elder Philbert Badresingh now serves as Asst. Pastor while he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the College of Old Westbury, and working full time with Developmental Disabilities Institute. He is married to Barbara Badresingh who is the Pastor of Christian Builders Deliverance Ministries, Inc.
